This chest is a Sorrento music box in Baroque style, with a bombè kid.

Baroque style has been a new style in the sevententh-century, here in Italy, bombastic and extravagant in its shapes

The inlaid wood music box is entirely handmade: the edge is lined with rosewood and ferrarese walnut.

Its lid is made with many various colored natural wood properly covered and it represent a classic Sorrento inlay, made in orange wood.

It is also furnished with the classic, ancient Neapolitan music famous all over the world such as Torna a Surriento, Funiculì funiculà, O Sole mio and other.

Inside the inlaid wooden box you can appreciate a smooth velvet frame.
